1. TV shows
Where to start...
a) Downton Abbey is back.
b) This autumn The Great British Bake Off also returned, and this weekend I managed to catch up on about five episodes back to back so I am now up to date. I spent the weekend watching about puddings, pies and cakes and didn't do any exercise!
c) More good news, apparently Fresh Meat is making a return with series 3, so that's more to look forward to.
d) I've also been enjoying Flight Of The Conchords on DVD. It's about two amateur musicians from New Zealand finding their way in New York and full of hilarious and very random songs.
2. I love my new kettle
There's not much more to say really, apart from that I bought a ceramic Elba kettle. It's so much nicer to use that a plastic one!
I just finished The Uglies, sort of another Hunger Games-style page-turner. In keeping with the obsession with distopian societies, it's The Maze Runner to read next. I've also been enjoying listening to the free download of the audio book of The Metemorphosis (aka famous book about a man who turns into a giant dung beetle!)
Rather breakfasty, but I have been munching on Tesco chocco-nut pillows and Elevenses choc chip breakfast bakes. Both of these make a good late night snack!
5. Baby oil
I've been using this in the shower after a face wash, directly on the face. Surprisingly it doesn't make the face greasy at all. If there ever was something so soft as a baby's bo..
6. The evenings drawing in
Is it strange to enjoy the darker evenings? They seem so cosy!
